A Place My Mom Would Have Loved . . .

My mom loved butterflies!  My kids gave me a butterfly necklace that I rarely take off.  Oftentimes, when I see a butterfly, I stop and stare at it and think to myself, "Hi Mom!"   Recently, I went to Brookside Gardens to see their butterfly exhibit.  And at one point I was standing there looking around, and thought how much she would have loved this place!  Most of the time, though, I was trying to get a decent picture or two.  I need more practice, so I'll just have to go back . . .



The above caterpillar turns into the below.  Unfortunately, Atlas Moths are not licensed to be part of the exhibit, so they freeze them and use them for educational purposes.
